Night-On-The-Town Clutch

I was in the mood to make something quick and easy, thus this purse was born. It took only a couple hours, with me being constantly distracted and procrastinating. I'm envisioning one in creme and brown, creme and hot-pink,silver with sparkles, creme and midnight blue... I'm feeling creme lately. I think an over-sized one would be fantastic.

If you look in the right hand corner, you can see my dog Roxie in the background.

Not a very good picture, but how cute is that? (Her name is Belle)

Ripple Blanket

Crochet Blanket

One of the things I hate about crochet blankets is the awkward holes. They're kind of chilly and my toes occasionally poke out, which totally defeats the purpose of blankets. BUT if the stitches are tight enough, you get a lovely heavy blanket, such as the one I'm making.

My camera some how managed to do this. It's kinda hipster-y.

The pattern can be found here. I adjusted it a little by changing it to a treble stitch.

Random

If anyone wants to make and sell anything based on any of my very poorly written tutorial, I'm perfectly fine with that. A link to my page would be appreciated(:

A Tutorial...For a...Thing

I made a ... whatever this thing is...

It's kind of a necklace, but it's kind of not... But it's not quite a scarf... So I don't know what to call it. Anyone know?

Here's what you do:
Step 1: Make three lopes of varying lengths ( they're going to have  to be pretty long)
Step 2: Make a flower with a hole big enough for a button to fit through (I honestly don't remember how I made mine, I kinda winged it)
Step 3: Dc (American terms) a small strip and sew or crochet the ends together around the strings
Step 4:  Sew your button to the Dc square
Step 5: Button your flower to the whatch-mah-call-it

Bam! your vary own... thing.

Scarf Beginnings

Yet Another Pending Project

Spoiler: it's a scarf. I love scarves, they're super easy and fantastic. Since I'm lazy, I haven't written down a pattern for this scarf. It's basically rows of stripes with gradually increasing spaces between them. The base of the scarf is a stockinette stitch with alternating stripe patterns created by changing the stitches. This probably isn't very clear, but I neglected to write down the process as I was making this. I may post a pattern later.

Here's a closer look at the stripes:

A (Probably Not) Long-Awaited Post

I'm Finally Posting Something...

Between a broken keyboard, a camera I have no idea how to work, and loads of school work (any of you ever read Dante's Inferno? Projects based on that get complicated, especially for two major grades. BUT enough complaining, there's crafting to do), I just haven't gotten around to posting anything... Until now! Rejoice very likely imaginary people!

Here's a project I've been working on

It's going to be an infinity scarf. I knit it in alternating rows of knits and  pearls (stockinette stitch) which can be problematic for scarves, since it tends to curl at the edges, but I steamed ironed it nearly to death. I'm going to crochet a thin edging in the same blue and then crochet a thicker, lacy-looking border.
